Michelle Muirhead trained at London College of Fashion and graduated with a degree at the University of Creative Arts. She has over twelve years’ experience in Menswear fashion design and extensive knowledge of the Fashion Industry, working with many high street brands and suppliers.
Michelle has a well-rounded background in fabric and fibres, menswear and boys wear design, garment construction, fashion production, technical drawing, pattern cutting and computer aided design. She has also worked with factories all over the world and has an excellent understanding of fashion as a global entity.
Now having received her PTLLS certificate, for adult teaching in adult education, she aims to inspire and support those who have a desire to delve into the world of fashion to achieve their full potential and aspirations. She has attained a certificate in Fibres, Yarns and Fabrics.
Michelle teaches as a Visiting Lecturer at Kingston University. She is also currently studying for an M.A. in Psychology for Fashion Professionals at the London College of Fashion.
At Fashion Antidote, Michelle teaches Fabric Knowledge and Adobe Illustrator and The Tech pack courses.
