Since graduating from Kingston University 10 years ago Kulvinder has been working in the fashion industry as a designer for commercial, luxury and independent fashion houses. Being a multi-product designer, her specialty is womenswear across Tailoring and Outerwear. To best communicate her ideas, Kulvinder’s strengths lie in effective illustrative skills and strong portfolio techniques. She is highly skilled in fashion illustration which ranges from figure drawing for personal projects and creating detailed specification and technical drawings to an industry standard for overseas factories ready for production.
Her illustrative work has been exhibited in galleries and magazines. Previously, Kulvinder has been a finalist for the prestigious Jon Adam ‘Best Portfolio Award’ At Graduate Fashion Week. Currently working with UK based manufacturers, Kulvinder designs womenswear for leading high street retailers complete with trend awareness and fabric knowledge.
At Fashion Antidote, Kulvinder teaches Beginner’s Fashion Drawing, Intermediate Fashion Illustration, technical Drawing for Fashion, Adobe Illustrator and 1 to 1 on specific projects.
