Intermediate Creative Fashion Illustration
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
Fashion Illustration is used by designers and in magazines, brochures and advertisements. This class is aimed at those who already have some drawing skills, and are looking to progress their skills and develop their own unique style to create fashion Illustrations.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
In this class we will cover a variety of drawing methods to enable you to produce creative fashion illustrations. You will experiment with a range of different media and techniques and be encouraged to develop a style of your own.
- Experimentation with media and methods.
- Figure drawing and poses
- Use of colour
- Light and shade
- Drawing skin tones, hair, etc.
- Drawing fabrics qualities, texture, print and pattern etc.
- Creation of a fashion Illustration.
HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO I ALREADY NEED?
We recommend that students on this class have completed one of our Fashion Drawing Beginner’s class or had some previous knowledge of fashion drawing.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
All materials are provided but it’s good to have your own to practice. This would include a range of pencils, fine liner pens. A range of coloured Pro-marker pens and an A3 Layout pad.
WHAT CLASS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND AFTER THIS ONE?
If you would like to produce fashion designs we have an Introduction to Fashion Design – Beginners – 1-day Intensive Class or an Introduction to Fashion Design – Beginners – Evening Class. If you want to produce technical drawings for your designs, we have a Technical Drawing for Fashion – Intermediate class.
