We provide tailor made training for the fashion and textiles industry. From small companies to major retailers, we work with companies and staff to deliver professional development and staff training in our East London studio. We have also run workshops, lectures and tutorage off site within shops, galleries and colleges. As an independent school, we are able to deliver entirely bespoke courses, designed around your budget and training requirements. Our previous clients include online retail giant ASOS, and heritage brand Drakes, London.
We can run courses of any length, from 1 day refreshers to weekly instalments or week intensives. We can also carry out training sessions in-house or at other locations.

Aim: Develop Pattern Cutting skills to feed back into staff work, and provide cost reductive solutions
Content: Working with teams of Menswear and Womenswear Junior Designers and Garment Technologists on professional development in Pattern Cutting for a range of garment types. Specific focus on fit and fabric economy.
Aim: Develop Construction and Pattern Cutting technique to key staff members, to be relayed to a new team in the factory.
Content: Staff member completed 10 days of Intensive Pattern Cutting and Garment Construction skills, with specific focus on tailored garments and troubleshooting.
Aim: To teach the team with the sewing skills necessary to maintain and mend their survival equipment on expeditions. We tailored the course to fit their very specific needs, and provided them with the skills to teach others on their expeditions
Content: Sewing skills, hand sewing skills, repair and mending techniques.
We run regular classes in sewing techniques and fabric knowledge at the John Lewis store on Oxford Street, and work with them on seasonal events.
We worked with luxury bed linen company Yves Delorme and Selfridges department store, running embroidery workshops in-store during their Sleep campaign in the Wonder Room. In the workshop customers will be able to learn beautiful embroidery techniques to embellish a Yves Delorme pillow case with a loved ones initial as a stylish hand made gift.
We ran 3 days of Fashion Design and Fashion Photography workshops for a group of 25, sixteen year old students from Blyth Education visiting London from Ontario, Canada on a European fashion tour.
We provided one to one portfolio advice sessions and feed back to H.E. students applying for university.
Working with Queenswood School we arranged a Fashion Taster week-long schedule of classes and trips, tailored to the specifications the teaching staff put forward.
We have worked alongside Crisis the homeless charity in helping candidates in gaining access to work, by providing business mentoring and consultancy to eligible applicants.
Ethical Fashion In The Age Of Austerity.
An event at the museum of childhood to promote ethical and sustainable fashion. We ran Upcycling workshops, creating skirts from shirts.
At the acclaimed vintage music, fashion and culture festival in 2011 we ran our Upcycling workshops over the weekend.
