These courses will give you a taste of the Fashion Design Process. They cover sources of inspiration, trend and fabric research, mood boards, targeting customers, sketching and drawing, designing, range planning and design solutions.

Fashion Design Beginners - 1 Day Intensive

On this day course you will learn about the fashion design process. We will cover sources of inspiration, how to forecast trends, undertake research and develop themes. You will create a mood board and produce creative design ideas that can be developed in to designs for a range of fashion garments.

Fashion Design Sketchbook Beginners

You will learn about the fashion cycle, range planning and editing and how the fashion design process works within the fashion industry. The course covers sources of inspiration, how to forecast trends and research and develop your theme. You will produce "mood boards" and create a sketchbook bursting with creative ideas on the theme of your choice. These ideas will then be developed towards designs for a garment or a range of fashion garments.
